Amenity Usage Guidelines and Security Reminders

We rely on residents to help keep our facilities secure and enjoyable for everyone. Please review the following guidelines:

  • No bicycles inside the clubhouse
Bike racks are available in gated areas on the property.

  • Guests must remain with the homeowner they came with
Please do not exit the facility and leave your guests unaccompanied. Brief absences — such as using the restroom — are not considered violations, provided you return promptly. Before issuing a violation, we do make an effort to verify whether the resident has left the property or is briefly away.

  • Do not let in people you don’t know
Even if it feels polite, do not open gates or doors for unknown individuals. All residents and guests must use their own 2N app for access.

  • Secure the gates behind you
Make sure each party enters individually by swiping in. Do not allow “tailgating” through gates. Any unknown individuals who enter behind you — and anyone you open the gate for — will be considered your guests. This means they will count toward your guest limit, and you will be fully responsible for their actions within the facilities, even if you do not personally know them. Failing to close a gate can lead to unauthorized access and potential violations.

We understand that it may feel unnatural to not hold the door or gate for someone behind you, but following this protocol is essential to protect our community and maintain fair use of our shared amenities.

  • Misuse of the exit button is a serious concern
At the pool and other amenities, exit buttons should only be used to leave with your party. Unfortunately, there have been  instances of residents using the exit button to let in strangers. This creates a domino effect, often leading to large groups of non-residents using our facilities without permission.

  • Deliberately propping open gates is not allowed
Security cameras monitor all access points. If a resident is caught leaving gates unsecured or misusing the entry system, it will be reported to the HOA Board. Consequences can include a warning, fines, or loss of amenity privileges.

  • Contact the security company about access issues and relevant concerns
If you’re unable to reach Sentry for assistance with an access issue, our security partner, Spearhead Security, is available to help. For amenity access concerns or any security-related matters, please contact Spearhead Security at 843-595-2939, ext. 0 or email
     admin@ssitusa.com.
Important: Spearhead Security handles only access and security-related issues. They cannot assist with matters like dues payments, reporting solicitors, etc.

Coming Soon: New Security Enhancements

In response to ongoing concerns about access control, a new security enhancement is planned that will eliminate exit button misuse entirely. More details will be announced soon.

Let’s continue working together to make The Villages at Godley Station's amenities safe, secure, and enjoyable for all.
