Information on proposed POA transition

The Villages at Godley Station’s HOA Board of Directors has proposed converting the community from a traditional homeowners’ association (HOA) to a property owners association (POA). This page is intended to serve as an informative resource and will be updated regularly with additional information on what the POA transition entails and how the process would be approached.

HOA-to-POA informational town hall meeting postponed

Dear residents,

The POA informational meeting that had been planned for 6 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2024 has been postponed due to unexpected conflicts with the attorneys' schedules. A new meeting date will be announced soon, as it is imperative the legal team is present at the meeting to provide the most accurate information and answers to residents.

The HOA board is very committed to making sure all community members are provided with information about the HOA-to-POA conversion before the official voting period opens. This includes rescheduling the in-person meeting in the near future to review and discuss the conversion with the community and allow for any questions and concerns to be heard and addressed by the HOA's legal team.

Throughout this information-gathering period, the board will continue working with community members to ensure everyone has a current email address on file so when the voting commences, we will be able to accommodate multiple forms of voting to include email ballots, online ballots, and mail-in ballots.

We look forward to providing more information about the HOA-to-POA conversion to the community.
